Dr. Sydney Day received her undergraduate degree in animal science from the University of Rhode Island before going on to graduate school at Boston University where she received her Master of Public Health degree. For several years afterward and before starting veterinary school at Tufts University, she had a few different roles including as an agricultural research associate back at URI, and as a veterinary technician.
She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University in 2023 and continued to stay close to home working in both general practice and urgent care in Rhode Island. Outside of work, Dr. Day enjoys hot yoga, reading, spending time with her husband and their dog Chowder, and enjoying the local food scene.
