Dr. Holmes graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013, earning her DVM and completing the International Veterinary Medicine program. She completed a rotating internship at New England Animal Medical Center and then traveled abroad, working on sterilization campaigns abroad before returning to the US to work in both General Practice and Emergency Medicine. She joined VUCC in 2020 and works out of the Worcester location. Dr. Holmes served as president of Tufts University Veterinary Alumni Association, where she is passionate about building international programs for veterinarians and students to help animals worldwide. When she is not working, she enjoys painting, woodworking, spending time with her family and taking walks with her Labrador Retriever, Parsley.
