Dr. Geddes graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2007 with a degree in Biology and Biotechnology. She then went on to earn her veterinary degree at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She completed a one year rotating internship at a large emergency hospital in Northern California and stayed there for a year working as an emergency doctor. She then returned home to her native Massachusetts where she practiced as a staff emergency veterinarian at a 24/7 specialty hospital on the South Shore for 6 years before joining the team at VUCC. Her professional interests include all aspects of emergency medicine and feline medicine. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family (including her three cats- Gorgonzola, Harriet, and Chewy), going to the beach, and baking.
