Dr. Wright received her bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Conservation from the University of Massachusetts and her Master’s degree in Conservation Medicine from Tufts Cummings Veterinary School. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois. Following graduation she completed a small animal rotating internship at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in Rhode Island, where she stayed on for a few years as an emergency clinician before coming to VUCC this year. Dr. Wright has a special interest in emergency medicine, toxicology, and exotic animal medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Wright enjoys doing anything outdoors (hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing) with her husband and their two dogs, Remy and Mila. Her two cats, Nina and Siri, have even been known to take a kayak ride or two!
