Diana  – Veterinary Nurse. Hello, hello! My name is Diana Rodriguez and I decided to make my passion into a career four years ago when I became a veterinary nurse. I am currently finishing my bachelor’s degree in biology at UMASS Boston and soon after will be applying to vet school! I also have two cats, Bam Bam and 15-year-old Rufus who is the newest adopted member of our family. I can’t forget about my beta fish, Blue. Even before it was my job, I have been helping animals in need. By now the Quincy animal control officers and local shelters know me by a first name basis. I believe all animals deserve respect, love, care and most importantly, a chance. I am so happy to have met Dr. D’Andrea and have the pleasure of working at VUCC where we practice safe handling and our first priority is genuinely the patients well-being. Love what you do, and you will never work a day in your life =) !

Tanya  – Veterinary Nurse. About 25 years ago I started my journey as a veterinary professional, but my love for animals began years prior. Born and raised on a farm in Massachusetts I was meant to care for all kinds of animals. Beside farm work and keeping up with school, I was an athlete. So swimming brought me over to Ohio where I earned a degree in education from The Ohio State University. I worked for many years as a swim coach and veterinary technician until making the full time move into the veterinary field. I became a certified technician and dove into emergency and critical care medicine with a passion for surgery and anesthesia. All my knowledge of veterinary medicine comes from those I have had the privilege to work with and for that I am grateful.
